Job summary

TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a Physical Therapist for a 16-week travel assignment in Martinez, GA. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute care plans for diverse patient populations in acute care settings, supervising PTAs and collaborating with physicians to ensure a team-based plan of care.

Requirements include BLS, state licensure, and 6–12 months of recent PT experience; new grads are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
