Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for an immediate 13-week assignment in Macon, GA. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days in an acute care setting.

You will evaluate and develop a plan of care for diverse patient populations while coordinating with center staff and physicians. Ideal candidates have 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS certification, and state-specific licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; exceptional candidates with appropriate background may be accepted with 6 months of experience.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines.
• Coordinate with Medical Center personnel and physicians for the plan of care.
• Understand adaptive equipment and create/manage plan of care.
• Evaluate and modify the plan of care based on patient condition.
• Use Medical Center systems to perform daily tasks and documentation.
