Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel RN OR - Operating Room for Osage Beach, Missouri. The OR nurse will support multiple operating rooms, provide perioperative care across several specialties, and handle a busy 40-hour week with 10-hour shifts and regular call duties.

The assignment runs for roughly 15 weeks with a start in October. Robotics experience and MEDITECH familiarity are considered pluses, and the role requires timely call response from within commuting distance to the facility.

Qualifications

• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Valid RN licensure with no disciplinary history on license.
• Robotics experience, with DaVinci preferred.
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital for call response.
• Experience with MEDITECH electronic charting system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care across multiple surgical specialties.
• Support multiple operating rooms and assist with a high-volume case load (approximately 5,000 procedures annually).
• Adhere to established clinical protocols and maintain patient safety.
• Meet schedule requirements: 10-hour days, 40 hours/week, with about four call shifts per month and potential weekend coverage.
