Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a Lake Charles, LA assignment. The RN will provide perioperative care, support surgical teams across pediatric to geriatric patients, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

This travel position offers a 13-week length, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts, private housing or housing allowance, comprehensive health insurance, 401(k), and tax-advantaged stipends; ongoing CE credits and travel reimbursement are

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and active RN license in state or compact required.
• Minimum 1 year OR nursing experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Perioperative nursing experience across pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care during surgeries.
• Monitor patient safety and coordinate with the surgical team.
• Assist with anesthesia support and post-operative handoff.
