Job summary

The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is actively seeking Trades Subjects Substitute Teachers. Substitute teachers earn a daily pay rate of $200.00 and participate in a program that covers 17 diploma-granting technical high schools and two airframe programs across Connecticut.

This position requires a criminal background check and additional forms for those with prior employment involving contact with children.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of trade experience.
• Must pass DCF and criminal background checks.
• Educational Employer Verification Form if previously employed with children.

Responsibilities

• Educate students in academic and trade coursework in the absence of a regular instructor.
