The role requires at least four years of trade experience and completion of criminal background checks. Introduction

The Connecticut Technical Education and Career System (CTECS) is actively seeking Trades Subjects Substitute Teachers!

Please Note:

This position will require a criminal background check.

Selection Plan

Substituting in the trades subjects:

Substitute trade applicants must have a minimum of four (4) years of trade experience as evidenced on the application and must submit to required DCF and criminal background checks.

PURPOSE OF JOB CLASS (NATURE OF WORK)

In the Connecticut Technical Education and Career System this class is accountable for educating students in academic and trade coursework in the absence of a regular instructor.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Substituting in Trade Subjects:

Incumbents must possess at least four (4) years of trade experience.
