Job summary

Flying S Title & Escrow in Hamilton, MT is seeking a part-time Policy Technician to join our team. You will issue title insurance policies and related services, while learning the practices of each state, county, and underwriter within the office network.

This role emphasizes accuracy, timely production, and strong customer communication. Ideal candidates have excellent communication, detail orientation, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to pass an MVR and background check.
• Previous experience in an office environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a solid understanding of the practices and laws governing each State, County, and Underwriter.
• Apply specific knowledge and technical skills through extensive experience in issuing title insurance policies, ranging from low to high complexity.
• Maintain daily production records and prepare reports using the information.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective and timely handling of policies and resolution of customer requirements.
• Communicate with company employees and customers by phone, in person, or through correspondence.
• Support corporate core values, purpose, goals, and culture.
• Adhere to all company policies and standards, including the expectation of prompt, predictable, and regular attendance.
• React to change positively and productively, including as a result of the expansion of job responsibilities and expectations.
• Perform other job duties as required.
