Job summary

ADP in Troy, MO is seeking a reliable Teller to handle daily cash transactions, verify deposits, and balance cash drawer at shift end. Responsibilities include processing checks, recording transactions, and promoting bank products and services to customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsements.
• Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts.
• Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds.
• Order daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Including handling large bags of coins.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift. Compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen.
• Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier's checks, trust and investment services.
• Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System.
• Remove deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
