Prosperity Bank in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Teller to handle daily customer transactions, deposits, withdrawals, and payments with accuracy and courtesy.

You will balance cash daily, promote banking products, and maintain customer privacy while working with team members to provide excellent service.

A high school diploma and at least one year of teller or cash-handling experience are required; prior experience is preferred, with willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Understanding of bank operations preferred.
• At least one year of related experience/cash handling required.
• Previous Teller experience preferred.
• Good math skills.
• Good typing skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, coin, and money counting machines, and telephone.

Responsabilités

• Process deposits and withdrawals accurately.
• Balance cash and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Cashes checks and negotiable instruments for clients.
• Promote bank products and services to customers.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Assist with training and supervision per supervisor guidance.
• Maintain neat and organized work area.
