Job summary

EXPLO, operating as EXPLO Middle School at Wellesley College, seeks instructors for a five-week, on-campus program in Wellesley, MA. Instructors teach 2–3 classes daily within a dynamic, project-based curriculum and participate in pre-summer remote planning with instructional coaches.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and relevant professional experience; campus housing may be available for non-locals. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with related professional experience.
• Campus housing may be available for non-local applicants.
• Willingness to receive feedback and grow as an educator.
• Authorized to work in the United States by start of the program.

Responsibilities

• Teach two or three 75-minute classes each weekday.
• Implement an existing project-based curriculum with input from instructional coaches.
• Complete daily preparation to deliver an engaging student experience.
• Work with your Instructional Coach and welcome regular classroom observations.
• Facilitate connections with guest speakers and external partners as appropriate.
• Attend weekly faculty meetings and provide student feedback throughout the summer.
