Job summary

Henry County School District is seeking a Substitute Teacher to cover daily absences and support student learning in a classroom setting. Rate starts at $140.00 per day and rises to $150.00 per day after 20 days of service.

The substitute will provide instruction under established guidelines, maintaining classroom routines and safety. A Bachelor's Degree and a valid IL teaching license are required, with PEL preferred for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Valid IL sub teaching license or IL elementary, special or secondary teaching license required or PEL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Substitute on an as-needed basis to cover daily certified staff absences.
• Teaches students academic, social and motor skills following state of Illinois laws and Board policy.
