Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License or Substitute Teaching License.
• Experience following prepared lesson plans and maintaining classroom routines.
• Ability to supervise students and communicate with the regular teacher.

Responsibilities

• Assumes duties of the absent teacher and follows provided lessons.
• Maintains routines and school/classroom procedures.
• Supervises students inside and outside the classroom as assigned.
• Implements instructional activities reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Communicates with the regular teacher about daily activities.
• Adheres to District 44 Substitute Handbook and policies.
