Job summary

Pueblo School for Arts and Sciences is seeking a Substitute Teacher to support elementary and middle school classrooms. You will follow lesson plans, help implement instruction, and contribute to a positive learning environment across PSAS campuses in Pueblo, Colorado.

The role is part-time with a school-year schedule. Requires background check, HS diploma/GED; preferred BA and Colorado teaching/substitute licenses; technology literacy a plus.

Qualifications

• Background check is required
• High school diploma or GED required
• BA degree preferred
• Colorado Teaching License or Substitute License preferred
• Recent teaching experience at K–8 level preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet, email, and gradebook systems

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and implement elementary and middle school activities.
• Coordinate with staff to support units of instruction and field trips.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and professional communication.
• Demonstrate time management and organization in daily tasks.
