Job summary

Camdenton R-III School District is seeking dedicated substitute teachers for the 2026/2027 school year. Substitutes implement lesson plans, maintain classroom management, and foster a safe learning environment in the absence of the regular teacher, upholding our culture of “Everyone Learning Every Day.” Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher and Missouri teaching certification.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certification.
Background checks and screenings completed.
Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Valid Missouri teaching certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
Maintain a positive, safe, and orderly learning environment.
Monitor students in classroom, hallways, cafeteria, and recess.
Accurately take attendance, record student progress, and provide reports.
Transition between different classrooms, subjects, and grade levels.
Adhere to confidentiality and district procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by Building Principal and Central Office administrators.
