Job summary

Princeton Independent School District is seeking a dedicated substitute teacher to provide students with learning activities in core subjects and support their intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. You will implement district curriculum, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to maintain a structured classroom environment.

Responsibilities include planning lessons, managing behavior, supervising aides and volunteers, and using technology to enhance instruction.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles.
• Present subjects per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan with appropriate instructional materials and equipment.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff on IEP modifications.
• Coordinate goals and methods with campus and staff.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Leverage technology to support teaching and learning.

• Sponsor extracurricular activities as assigned.
