Qualifications

• Proficiency with PC-based applications, Microsoft Office, email, and Web applications.
• Willingness to work within an Aligned Instruction System.
• Ability to build positive relationships with people from diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students.
• Provides an environment conducive to the development of individuals.
• Supervises students in a variety of school-related settings.
• Monitors and evaluates student outcomes; communicates with students, parents and staff.
• Develops, selects and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet all students.
• Maintains records and follows required procedures and practices.
• Monitors use and care of equipment, materials and facilities.
• Participates in district and school-based professional development with coaches and consultants.
• Supports and nurtures the academic, social-emotional, and physical needs of all students.
• Follows all relevant School Board Policy and uses best practices in teaching.
• Creates a classroom environment for student involvement and learning objectives.
• Participates in LT assignments: up to 15 hours for LTSPs.
