Aspire Trade High School in Huntersville, North Carolina, is seeking qualified substitute teachers to provide instruction in the absence of regular teachers. Hours vary and Aspire Trade High School does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of days or hours.

Compensation for substitutes includes $100 per day for certified teachers and $90 per day for non-certified substitutes. A valid NC driver’s license and successful background checks are required, with reporting to School Administration.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid teaching license or be eligible for substitute licensure.
• Minimum of one year experience as a classroom teacher is preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• In the absence of the regular teacher, provide instruction and manage the assigned class.

• Follow school policies and procedures during coverage periods.
