Job summary

Mission Staffing seeks a Structured Credit Analyst/Associate to join its New York investment team. You will evaluate and underwrite structured credit opportunities, building cash flow and credit models to assess losses, leverage and returns.

You will analyze loan-level data, perform due diligence on originators and servicers, prepare investment memoranda for the Investment Committee, and support structuring, execution and portfolio monitoring.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, ABS or related investing roles.
• Strong cash flow modeling and credit analysis skills.
• Experience evaluating structured transactions and collateral.
• Understanding of securitization structures and financing mechanics.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Motivated and detail-oriented with interest in structured credit investing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite new structured credit opportunities across consumer and asset-based finance.
• Build and maintain cash flow, credit, and return models to assess performance and returns.
• Analyze loan-level data and collateral performance, delinquencies, defaults, and recoveries.
• Conduct due diligence on underlying assets, originators, servicers and counterparties.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present underwriting recommendations to senior teams.
• Support transaction structuring, execution, and portfolio monitoring.
• Monitor investments and assess performance versus underwriting and equity returns.
• Stay current on structured credit, ABS, securitization and market trends.
