Job summary

Northrop Grumman Advanced Weapon Systems in Northridge, CA is seeking a Dynamics-Structural Analyst (Level 3 or 4) to join our Loads and Environments / Structural Analysis team. This on-site role focuses on analyzing, researching, and developing materials and their application to structures, systems, and subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or aerospace engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience (3 years with master's).
• Proactive problem-solving and strong communication skills.
• Ability to present technical information to all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis needs for defense programs, developing structural loads.
• Develop dynamic environments including shock, random vibration, sine vibration, and acoustic environments.
• Support testing of functional components to dynamic environments and qualification of flight hardware.
• Respond to requests to perform structural analysis tasks as needed.
