Job summary

D1 Lake Orion is seeking a dedicated Coach to foster a positive training environment for athletes of all ages. You will coach group workouts, personal training, and teams while focusing on technique, safety, and motivation to help members reach their goals.

The role requires AED/CPR/First Aid certification, 1+ year of strength & conditioning experience, and relevant NCCA-certified credentials or a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology.

Qualifications

• AED/CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• NCCA-certified certification or bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning experience in group, team, or personal training settings.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
• Maximize client retention through best-in-class service (coaching, training, nutrition, accountability).
• Modify and adapt movements for individuals.
• Coach group workouts, personal training, and teams.
• Deliver education on strength, speed, and nutrition while keeping athletes safe.
