Citi Trends, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Store Sales Associate to join our Natchez, MS team. You will assist customers, process transactions, and help with merchandising on the sales floor.

You will maintain accurate cash handling, follow company policies, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding store standards and safety procedures. Weekend availability is required, and you will wear a name tag as part of professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Responsibilities

• Process freight.
• Assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance cash register according to policy.
• Call out prices for customer when ringing register.
• Bag merchandise efficiently during transactions.
• Handle cash, checks and cards per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintain housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide customer service: greet customers, follow fitting room policies, ring up purchases, thank customers, invite return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance including name tag.
• Assist management in merchandising on the sales floor.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Assist Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures and reporting incidents.
