Job summary

Lidl stores offer a fast-paced, customer-focused Store Associate role in Maryland. You’ll help across checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and weekly promotions, contributing to strong store performance in a single shift.

You’ll work with urgency, follow Lidl’s processes, assist customers, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure inventory accuracy. Training and benefits support growth with Lidl US.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service that makes their trip easy and leaves them excited to shop.
• Seamlessly transition between checkout, stocking, and areas like bakery or produce to meet real-time needs.
• Meet productivity goals by working with urgency and following Lidl’s processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
• Execute daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas to meet Lidl’s quality standards.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers with proper signage and pricing.
• Keep the store clean, upholding high cleanliness standards on sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Operate the register quickly and accurately and memorize PLUs for produce pricing.
• Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or upscale issues.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support loss prevention measures.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
• Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and ensure smooth operations for the next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
