Job summary

UC Davis Health seeks a Speech Pathologist to provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment across pediatric to geriatric patients within the PM&R department. The role supports AAC, language and neurogenic disorders, swallowing issues, and coordination with physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure timely care.

Responsibilities include education of clinicians, management of insurance authorizations, and maintaining thorough patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• 70% - Perform various evaluative, diagnostic and procedures for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, acute care, ICU, pediatric, and outpatients.
• 15% - Contribute to the functioning of the Speech Pathology section.
• 10% - Maintain accurate and timely patient records and process necessary billing forms.
• 5% - Participates in instructional activities to maintain and improve professional skills and knowledge
