Job summary

TheraPeds Partners seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Fort Lupton, Colorado. This on-site, full-time role supports students through individualized instruction and collaboration with families and school teams.

You will develop and monitor IEP goals, adapt curricula, collect data, and coordinate with staff to ensure inclusive, meaningful educational participation across settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
• Active or eligible Colorado educator certification with Special Education endorsement.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, eligibility, progress monitoring, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and services.
• Adapt curriculum to meet student needs.
• Collect data and monitor progress across academics and behavior.
• Complete progress reports and IEP documentation.
• Serve as case manager for assigned students.
• Participate in IEP and MDT meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, related-service providers, and families.
