Propel Schools seeks a Special Education Teacher for Propel Homestead for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves collaborating with admins to plan and deliver IEP-based instruction, with extensive professional development and a 220-day work year.

Qualifications

• Valid PA certification in Special Education PK-12, 9-12 or N-12.
• Experience with special education students preferred.
• Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use data to differentiate instruction.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design instruction aligned with state standards and best practices.
• Develop and update learning resources; participate in professional development.
• Create a respectful environment that promotes learning.
• Use varied instructional strategies to engage students.
