Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plans a program of study meeting individual student needs and abilities.
• Evaluates student progress and prepares progress reports.
• Instructs pupils in citizenship and basic communications skills as per district regulations.
• Provides instruction to accommodate varying intellectual and special needs.
• Maintains orderly classroom behavior and manages instructional materials and inventory.
• Coordinates work of aides and paraprofessionals and communicates with parents about progress.
