The role requires a Bachelor’s in Special Education and an active Ohio teaching certificate, with strong organizational and communication skills to support student growth within a professional school setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and licensure in Special Education (Intervention Specialist).
• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license.
• Criminal background clearance from Ohio BCI and FBI.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to generate, record, and maintain information and data.
• Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and ODE Model Curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction aligned to IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers and service providers to set measurable IEP goals.
• Determine accommodations and interventions for IEPs.
• Complete IEP progress reports for caseload.
• Attend IEP and IAT meetings as requested.
