Responsibilities include delivering instruction and developing plans for in-person and virtual learning to meet district standards. Strong emphasis on working with diverse learners, including those with special needs, and maintaining effective communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Georgia PSC-approved college in the relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-level, subject-specific and mandated curriculum.
• Develops and implements lessons for in-person and virtual learning with documented prep.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and families.
• Creates a conducive learning environment for physical, social, and emotional development.
• Uses internet and web-based tools to support instruction.
• Assesses and reports progress, attendance, and performance.
• Maintains student behavior per policy.
• Participates in conferences with parents, counselors, teachers, and administrators.
• Performs duties such as ordering materials and attending professional development.
• Directs paraprofessional support.
• Meets the needs of students with IEPs and special education requirements.
