Quorum Hospitality in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a capable Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team and ensure consistent, high-quality meals during service and events.

You will support the Executive Chef, supervise line cooks, uphold food safety, portion control, and timely delivery in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Responsibilities include inventory management, equipment upkeep, banquet coordination, and preparing meals for employee cafeterias and special functions.

Qualifikationen

• Prior cook experience in a hotel or restaurant.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Unexpired Food Handlers Certification.

• Prepare and present meals to meet guest or banquet event order specifications.
• Accurately measure and portion ingredients for consistency.
• Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to standards, procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Utilize and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and steamers.
• Manage inventory, ensuring that supplies are fresh and of high quality.
• Monitor food temperatures during cooking and ensure proper storage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and kitchen.
• Oversee kitchen opening and closing tasks and support the Executive Chef as needed.
• Prepare food for employee cafeteria or work banquet stations as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.
