Job summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our fast-paced Pleasanton warehouse team. You will coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain inventory records, and prepare shipping documents to ensure accurate, timely delivery.

This temp-hire role requires strong organizational skills, experience in shipping and receiving, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience.
• Experience with shipping documentation and inventory transactions.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
• Pull and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Create shipping documentation including packing lists, bills of lading, labels, and shipping records.
• Coordinate outbound freight and communicate with carriers regarding shipment schedules.
• Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure inventory is properly identified, stored, and accessible.
• Confirm delivery completion within company systems.
• Support inventory accuracy through transaction processing and recordkeeping.
• Follow company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and quality standards.
• Assist with additional warehouse and logistics duties as assigned.
