Job summary

Cannistraro is seeking a Service Coordinator to be the hub of our Service Operations team in New England. You will dispatch HVAC, plumbing, controls, and fire protection technicians, coordinate emergency and scheduled service calls, and communicate with customers to provide updates throughout the service process.

Ideal candidates will have 0–3 years in customer service, dispatch, scheduling, or administrative roles. A high school diploma is required, and Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A sense of urgency and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily service operations and dispatch technicians throughout New England.
• Evaluate incoming service requests, determine urgency, and prioritize emergency and scheduled work.
• Dispatch HVAC, Plumbing, Controls, and Fire Protection technicians based on needs, availability, location, and skill set.
• Communicate with customers to gather service information, establish time-and-material service calls, and provide updates.
• Coordinate technician schedules to maximize productivity while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Develop knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to understand issues and communicate with field personnel.
• Coordinate procurement of purchase orders, materials, and services needed to support service work.
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and dispatch information in company systems.
• Build strong relationships with technicians, customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
