Job summary

Poage Ford seeks a Service Advisor to greet customers, collect vehicle information, schedule maintenance, and prepare accurate labor and parts estimates. You will monitor repairs and clearly explain charges to customers in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and deliver exceptional customer service. High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Past experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager or service consultant.

• Minimum of 1 year in service department.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly.
• Obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer.
• Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle.
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts.
• Establish follow up time.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order.
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers.
