Target is hiring a Target Security Specialist in Brandon, FL to protect guests, team members and merchandise. The role involves welcoming guests, monitoring store safety, responding to incidents, and supporting loss-prevention efforts with integrity and compliance.

Training is provided to help you excel in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, capable of operating scanners and video systems, and able to work

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Meet state/local licensure or legal requirements for the position
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and related technology
• Effective communication skills and teamwork
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests and team members at store front
• Maintain safe and secure standards throughout the store
• Respond to and document security incidents
• Conduct merchandise recoveries and provide apprehension support as needed
• Performs receipt checks for exposed high-dollar merchandise
• Document incidents in the system following AP policies and procedures
• Use video system for monitoring and investigations
• Ensure a safe, clean store environment and assist guests as needed
