Job summary

Target is seeking a Security Specialist to help keep guests, team members, and the brand safe across our stores. You will engage with guests, assist colleagues, and respond to incidents with a strong emphasis on ethical conduct and safety.

This role offers a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn security operations and loss prevention. The position requires flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and involves physical tasks such as lifting and patrolling the store to maintain

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Able to communicate across multiple devices and with guests and team members
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with needs to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• Resolve guest issues and maintain a friendly store environment
• Document incidents in the case management system accurately and promptly
• Conduct merchandise theft recoveries and assist with theft apprehension as needed
• Support safety and security standards across the store and exterior property
