Qualifications

• Be properly certified in all areas of assignment
• Demonstrates cooperativeness and willingness to carry out assigned tasks

Responsibilities

• Teach reading, language arts, social studies, and other assigned areas according to State Standards/Benchmarks and District curriculum.
• Instruct pupils in citizenship and school regulations; maintain classroom discipline.
• Develop and implement lesson/unit plans to address standards and benchmarks.
• Differentiate instruction to support all learners and use assessments to guide instruction.
• Communicate with parents regarding pupil progress and behavior.
• Maintain student records and use the student information system.
