South Fremont High School in St. Anthony, Idaho seeks a Secondary Physical Science Teacher for grades 9-12. The role reports to the Building Principal and contributes to delivering the district curriculum and maximizing student achievement as measured by state and district assessments.

The successful candidate will teach physics concepts, manage a safe classroom, and collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to support student growth and accountability.

Qualificações

• Idaho teaching certificate endorsed for appropriate levels and subjects.
• Ability to work with students, staff, parents, and the public.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Plans a program of study that meets the needs and abilities of students.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students.
• Guides learning toward achievement of curriculum goals.
• Uses instructional methods and materials appropriate to the teaching assignment.
• Assesses student progress and provides required reports.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams and assessment processes as needed.
• Counsels colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis.
• Supports policy implementation and maintains orderly classroom procedures.
• Plans and supervises paraprofessionals and volunteers.
• Takes precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities.
• Maintains professional competence and attends staff meetings.
