Job summary

Meridian Preparatory Academy in Phoenix, AZ seeks a High School Science Teacher for the 27-28 SY to deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry and Physics. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Arizona State Teaching Certificate, or the ability to obtain one with the appropriate endorsement(s).
• Valid IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, or the ability to obtain one.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of best instructional practices.
• Ability to provide verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience.
• This individual will exhibit the skills pertinent to fostering positive human relationships and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.
• Ability to deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons across disciplines such as Biology, Earth Science, Chemistry, and/or Physics.
