Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid educator license in secondary grades Mathematics education or eligible for a conditional license.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution.
• Knowledge of federal laws protecting services for students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of instructional specialty.
• Excellent oral and written communications and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements instructional strategies and activities using varied materials and technology.
• Develops and adapts materials to meet diverse student needs within the district curriculum.
• Maintains behavior management to support a conducive learning environment.
• Collaborates with professional staff and coordinates instructional activities across schools.
• Communicates with parents and documents student progress for reporting purposes.
• Assists with supervision of paraprofessionals and student volunteers as required.
