Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
• Possession of a Maryland Educator Certificate appropriate to the area of assignment.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of pedagogy, curriculum, and effective instructional techniques.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times, in-person and virtually.
• Plans and implements instructional programs aligned with system goals and student needs.
• Prepares and documents lesson plans based on curricula and learning environment.
• Creates an environment conducive to students' intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development, in-person and virtual as needed.
• Communicates standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents; meets with them.
• Maintains complete student records and monitors academic progress.
