Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid educator license in secondary grades General Science or eligible for a conditional license.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution.
• Knowledge of federal laws protecting educational services for students with disabilities.
• Knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and equipment of instructional science.
• Excellent oral and written communications and human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess student abilities related to goals and outcomes.
• Plan and implement instructional strategies with varied materials and multimedia.
• Develop, adapt, and individualize educational materials to meet student needs.
• Establish discipline and manage behavior to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with guidance counselors, librarians, and other professionals.
• Maintain documentation of student progress and communicate with parents.
