Job summary

Adelphi is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide assessments, therapy, and consultation within Spring Valley school settings. The role supports students with identified communication needs in accordance with IEPs, district requirements, and professional standards.

The contract position requires NY state licensure for school-based SLP services and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with experience serving children with IEPs.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New York for school-based services.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Experience working with students who have IEPs.
• Ability to maintain accurate student files, service records, and required reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy sessions as required by IEPs.
• Evaluate students during initial assessments and annual reviews.
• Arrange on-site visits for assigned student sessions throughout the school year.
• Collect and monitor data related to IEP goals to inform services.
