Qualifications

• Current & valid MA RN or LPN nursing license.
• Current & valid CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to respond professionally to medical emergencies.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong triage and nursing assessment skills.
• Fingerprinting and CORI check required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Experience with diabetes, asthma, and allergies preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for sick and injured students pre-K through grade 12.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered.
• Accurately document into electronic health record system (SNAP experience preferred).
• Collaborate with parents and school staff regarding student health issues as they arise.
• Accompany students on school-sponsored field trips.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Leader as appropriate.
