Five Below is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to be at the heart of the action. You will greet customers, assist with product questions, and process transactions on the sales floor with a focus on quick, friendly service.

The role emphasizes keeping merchandise organized and ensuring the floor is stocked while delivering a seamless checkout experience. You’ll collaborate with teammates to meet store goals, promote events, and handle customer concerns with professionalism and care.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, handheld and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: Approach and acknowledge customers immediately, providing assistance and handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Understand and meet customer needs: Share product knowledge, answer questions, direct them to merchandise, and offer recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling while staying informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions: Inform customers about current events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns: Address issues and offer alternative solutions, aiming for exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management: Inform management about restocking, service requirements and feedback in a timely manner.
• Support team and company goals: Collaborate with the team to achieve store objectives and maintain a positive environment.
