Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare seeks a Level II Competent Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care using the nursing process. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care across Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital locations.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, discharge planning, and active participation in performance improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and RN eligible.
• BSN preferred per job posting.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required at hire; NIHSS (Bluecloud) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process with a multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient/family involvement, discharge planning, and care plan communication.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives.
• Provide input on unit needs and participate in committees.
• Maintain safety and care standards across Mary Washington Hospital and Stafford Hospital.
