Job summary

UPMC St. Margaret is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Interventional Radiology and Cardiology. The RN will assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, perform assessments, monitor patients, administer medications and sedation, and educate patients and families.

The role includes involvement in IR, Nuclear Cardiology, TEE, and tilt table testing, with flexible shifts and occasional call. The position offers growth within the professional staff nurse ladder, with salary and title

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where the facility is located or in a compact state.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; BSN preferred.
• Annual professional contribution or nursing certification required within 1 year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, preparation, monitoring, recovery, medication and sedation administration.
• Perform cardiac rhythm monitoring and IV/port access; patient education and discharge planning.
