Job summary
AdventHealth Palm Coast in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team, and administer medications safely.
You will supervise nursing staff, educate patients and families, assist physicians, monitor lab results, maintain infection control, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing required.
- Current RN license.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
- EKG interpretation knowledge preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments and document findings.
- Develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications safely and monitor patient responses.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
- Educate patients and families about care plans, meds, procedures, and follow-up.
