The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Westwood, NJ location. You will empower your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive store performance in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower a large team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to influence and provide effective feedback and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive store performance by supporting sales results, managing expenses, and overseeing key operations including merchandising, backroom, frontline, cash office, customer service, markdowns, scheduling, shipping, and receiving, with a focus on minimizing shrink and damages.
• Attract and develop Associates; provide training and ongoing development; mentor a positive experience for staff and customers.
• Communicate and implement action plans for projects, targets, and store changes; input on succession planning.
• Implement strategies to meet sales, expense, and customer service targets; coordinate loss prevention and improve layout and efficiency.
