Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight.
• Assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance cash drawer per policy.
• Call out prices for customers at register.
• Bag merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handle cash, checks and credit cards per policy.
• Obtain management approval for returns, voids and checks.
• Maintain store housekeeping and upkeep as assigned.
• Provide customer service: greet customers, assist with fitting room policies, ring up customers, thank customers, invite them to return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain professional appearance with name tag.
• Assist management with merchandising on the sales floor.
• Assist management with tasks per company policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Support Store Manager with Loss Prevention procedures.
