Qualifications

• Cashier experience in a similar position or proficiency in a similar task.
• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to help maintain a customer-focused culture.
• Ability to use a cash register, POS system, computer, and related equipment.
• Willingness to learn all areas of the store and help train others.
• Skilled at providing prompt, friendly, and attentive customer service.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with diverse customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Help unload incoming trucks and stock merchandise in assigned department.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and full stock of your area.
• Execute daily goals and priorities with urgency and attention to detail.
• Participate in daily huddle meetings and share ideas for improvement.
• Assist customers with large/heavy items and greet customers promptly.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Handle refunds and issue store merchandise credits per policy.
• Ensure cash drawer balance at start/end of shift and notify manager of discrepancies.
• Promote promotions, campaigns, and Ace Rewards programs.
• Follow store safety/emergency procedures and keep equipment clean.
• Assist in training peers and be a team player.
