Job summary

CITITRENDS, Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and possess strong product knowledge in store operations. The role requires engagement with customers, integrity, and effective communication in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Sales Associate will contribute to a positive work culture, assist with stock management and pricing changes, and support store management with daily tasks. This position is in-store and non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and manage price changes/markdowns.
• Balance register and handle cash, checks, and cards in line with policy.
• Greet customers, assist with fitting room policies, and ring transactions.
• Explain exchange/refund policies and assist with merchandising on the sales floor.
• Support loss prevention efforts and report incidents of theft or dishonesty.
• Maintain professional appearance and upkeep of the store; perform other duties as assigned.
